We will update this post when we know more. Typically Yahoo fixes these types of issues quickly, so I’m hopeful that they will get it resolved soon. The issue is with Yahoo Finance and their data feed that StockMarketEye uses. Unfortunately, as much as we would like to fix it, there’s not much we can do at this point. On the other hand, users from Europe and other parts of the world are not experiencing any problems. Users from some parts of the world, Western North America especially, are having problems. This leads us to believe that it is a regional issue. Other users, however, are not experiencing any problems. For many users the quotes are stuck, with the last trade from the close on Wednesday.

As a workaround, export the configuration using the standard desklet settings menu to a (json) file, then edit the file with your favorite text editor, and finally import the configuration file again.īased on the desklet source code from fthuin.As some may already have noticed, the Yahoo Finance data quote feed is not updating properly since the close of trade on Wednesday November 19th.
